DENSO’s most recent system incorporates a number of newly developed components: the world’s first matrix infrared (IR) sensor, which detects the surface temperature of passengers; a compact front HVAC unit with advanced control capabilities; a quieter rear air conditioner cooling unit; and an oxygen concentration conditioner, which ensures oxygen concentration in the cabin remains at ideal levels. DENSO recently launched it’s first passenger vehicle air conditioning system using ejector cycle technology which improves efficiency by more than 50%, leading to a 70% reduction in refrigerant emissions and a 60% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.
